This event is rain or shine. Please dress for the weather.
Nature comes alive in the nighttime! This beloved summer event features local beer tastings, food bite samples from area restaurants and caterers, interactive activities, food trucks, live music, and so much more.
Individual ticket price of $50 includes:
- Feast on complimentary food bites that highlight Cincinnati’s vibrant local food scene or purchase a meal from Taco Oso or Peace Pizza food trucks.
- Sip on a selection of unique beers from five different craft breweries. BrewDog Cincinnati, Dead Low Brewing, DVD Brew, Northwood Cider Company, and Rhinegeist Brewery will be the featured breweries at this event. Select complimentary beer samples are included in the ticket price.
- Enjoy the sweet sounds of live, local music from Vudu Childe on the Krippendorf Terrace.
- Stroll the Nature Center trails and engage in interactive activities that highlight the wild side of nature!
- Get up close and personal with local wildlife from our partners at RAPTOR, Inc., Dragonfly Garden Animal Rescue, as well as several of Cincinnati Nature Center’s own resident wildlife ambassadors.
Guests will receive 4 beer/wine-tasting tickets and 4 food bite tickets upon arrival. Additional beer-tasting tickets, full-size beer and wine tickets, and foraged cocktail tickets are available for purchase.
Preregistration required. Ages 21 and older. Must show ID. Limit is ten event tickets per person.
This event is a fundraiser for Cincinnati Nature Center and all revenue earned goes towards our mission of Inspiring Conservation.

Where will this event be held?
Hoots & Hops will take place at Cincinnati Nature Center’s Krippendorf Lodge. The Krippendorf Lodge is located at our Rowe Woods location at 4949 Tealtown Rd., Milford, OH, 45150. There will be stations and activities set up on the trails surrounding the Krippendorf Lodge, as well.
Does this event take place outside?
Yes. This event will be held outside and will go on rain or shine. Much of the event will take place under the Krippendorf Lodge’s large tent and will be covered in the case of rain. Inclement weather, such as high winds, may result in a cancellation. Should weather result in Cincinnati Nature Center cancelling the event, all guests will be notified by 3:00 pm the day of the event, and a full refund will be issued.
Is this event family friendly?
No. This event is for adults 21+. ID’s will be checked at the door and wristbands will be put on each registered guest.
Do I need to bring my ID?
Yes! We are required, by law, to check ID’s at events that serve alcohol, regardless of how young or old you may look. Please have a valid ID with you upon checking in at Registration.
Can I bring my dog?
No. Registered service animals only, please.
Is parking provided?
Yes. There is plenty of parking available.
Will there be alcohol available for purchase?
Yes. Beer, wine and a foraged cocktail will be available for purchase. Select complimentary beer and wine samples are also included in the ticket price. Guests are welcome to bring water. No outside food or beverages, please.
Will credit cards be accepted for food and drink purchases?
Yes. All major credit cards will be accepted, as well as cash.
Do I have to be a member of the Cincinnati Nature Center to attend?
No! Non-members are encouraged to attend.
