All annual contributions and membership fees are spent as operating support in the fiscal year in which they are given.

Thanks to the generosity of members and donors, we are fortunate to have unrestricted assets at least five times our annual budget. These funds are treated as endowments to support Cincinnati Nature Center operations in future years and allow us to respond to future needs such as land acquisition.
