Frequently Asked Questions
Where will this event be held?
Hoots & Hops will take place at Cincinnati Nature Center’s Krippendorf Lodge. Krippendorf Lodge is located at our Rowe Woods location at 4949 Tealtown Rd., Milford, OH, 45150.
What time is this event? Do I need to stay the whole time?
This event begins at 6:00pm and goes until 10:00pm. It is open house style, meaning you can arrive and leave at any time and stay as long as you want. Please note: We will not begin admitting patrons into the event space until 5:45 in order to allow our staff, volunteers, and musicians time to get properly set up. Please do not arrive before this time.
Does this event take place outside?
This event largely takes place outdoors and will go on rain or shine. The live music, food bites, and most of the beer stations will be located at the Krippendorf Lodge terrace under a large tent. These activities will be covered in case of rain. However, many of the other festivities are located along the trails. Please come dressed and prepared for the weather. We would only cancel in the event of inclement weather, such as dangerous winds or lightning. In this case, event attendees would be notified day-of and a full refund would be issued.
Can I get a refund?
All sales are final. Refunds are not issued unless Cincinnati Nature Center must cancel the event due to inclement weather or other reasons. You are welcome to give your ticket(s) to someone else in the event that you are no longer able make it. To do so, share your receipt with the QR code with the new ticket-holder so they can show it at Registration for admission in your place.
